Halloween

Haunting Evening

October 19th starting at 7PM the library will be hosting a Halloween night filled with spooky fun for the whole family.  The night will begin with activities, a campfire, and smores.  This will be followed by ghost stories and Halloween traditions told by a Mr. Dedus Canby.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest  (9th-18th)

We need talented and creative people to fill our library with decorated pumpkins.  Our shelves are screaming to be filled with clever and interesting pumpkins, not to mention beautiful and scary.  Pumpkins may be decorated using fabric, paint, markers, paper, and so on ( no carving permitted).  All entries must be locked in the library by 8pm on Thursday October 18th for our judges to examine.  Ribbons will be awarded to the winners in each of the following categories.  All others will receive a participation ribbon.  The first 3 places will win MONEY.  Pumpkins must be picked up by Monday October 25th, pumpkins not picked up at this time will never be seen again……
