About the event

Craft Beerology 103: All About Malt - Without barley malt, we wouldn't have beer. Attend our All About Malt class by Certified Cicerone David Nilsen and learn how barley is malted and kilned, the role of barley malt in the brewing process, how different malts produce different sensory characteristics in beer, and how different beer styles express malt character differently. The class will then sample 4-5 excellent beers to illustrate these principles.
