Honor Our Veterans &
Active Duty Military

Worch Memorial Public Library invites the community to visit our annual Veterans & Military Display, on exhibit now through Veterans Day.

The display honors the men and women who have served, as well as those who are currently serving, in the United States Armed Forces. It features photographs, uniforms, military artifacts, letters, memorabilia, and patriotic decorations representing military service from different families, generations, branches, and places across the country.

This year’s display also includes a special board recognizing families with multiple members who have served or are currently serving in the military, highlighting the proud tradition of service passed down through generations.

We are continuing to add to the display and welcome contributions honoring veterans and active-duty military members from anywhere in the United States or abroad. They do not need to be local or have any connection to the Versailles area.

Patrons are encouraged to bring in military photographs, uniforms, artifacts, letters, memorabilia, or other meaningful items they would like to share. Items may be donated permanently to the library or loaned to us temporarily for the duration of the display.

Stop by Worch Memorial Public Library before Veterans Day to explore the collection, share a piece of military history, and help us honor the service, stories, and sacrifices of veterans and active-duty members of the United States military, wherever they may call home.
