Worch Library Reaching Out to Patrons

Worch Library wants to make sure the community is aware of all the great things happening at the library each month. From story times for the children to the adults that want to learn how to make bread.
To do this, the library is now sending out the monthly newsletter via email. Patrons that have included their email addresses with their account information can receive the newsletter through their email. Also available via email are program updates.
If you are interested in having these services available to you, just let one of the staff know and your name will be included on the list. You may have been asked to be placed on the email list when updating your card.
The library will not pull email addresses from accounts to send this information. The service is only for those which request it or agree to the distribution.

Christmas Throughout the Library

Come in and join us on Monday, December 9 at 6 p.m. to enjoy a night full of fun activities for all ages. Throughout the night, Joseph Helfrich will be singing a variety of Christmas carols to put everyone in a festive mood. To help set the holiday mood are over 20 Christmas trees decorated by our community’s businesses and organizations. In addition to the trees, there are several beautifully painted window displays.
Downstairs, the Friends of the Library will sponsor a book sale with an assortment of wonderful books. The Friends will also be providing refreshments to enjoy while you browse for that perfect book.
On the main level, there will be an

area set up for crafts. Supplies will

be provided for adults to make a card that can be taken with them or we can send it to active military members

and veterans. There will be a separate craft available for children to make.
